Scrum Master, JIRA Migration

Honda is seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong Jira expertise to support a major migration from an external vendor-managed system into Honda’s internal Jira environment. This role will help drive the transition across marketing, website development, product management, and cross-functional stakeholders while ensuring operational continuity during migration. This is a highly execution-focused role for someone who can quickly assess current workflows, structure Jira for long-term success, support adoption across teams, and create clarity throughout a complex operational transition. What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day Scrum Master responsibilities across cross-functional teams including marketing, website development, and product management
  • Support migration from vendor-managed project systems into Honda’s Jira environment
  • Assess current workflows, processes, and project structures to support successful migration planning
  • Help design, configure, organize, and operationalize Jira workflows, boards, ticket structures, and reporting
  • Coordinate migration timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
  • Drive agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog management
  • Support team adoption, onboarding, and best practices for Jira and agile workflows
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and improve delivery visibility across teams
  • Partner with leadership to ensure migration success and sustainable future-state operations

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Scrum Master experience supporting cross-functional digital, marketing, product, or technology teams
  • Strong hands-on Jira experience, including workflow setup, migration support, backlog management, and process optimization
  • Experience supporting platform, system, or workflow migrations
  • Proven ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups including marketing, developers, and product managers
  • Strong organizational, communication, and change management capabilities
  • Ability to quickly assess operational gaps and improve team processes

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting enterprise Jira migrations or major tool transitions
  • Experience in marketing, digital, or website operations environments
  • Automotive or large enterprise experience
  • Jira administration or advanced configuration experience
