Our client, a multinational leader in specialty produce, is hiring an East Coast Sales Account Manager to drive growth across the Eastern U.S. This remote role focuses on developing new business, expanding key accounts, and building strong relationships with retail and foodservice customers in a premium category. Backed by a vertically integrated model, proprietary growing practices, and advanced production, the company is well positioned for continued expansion. You’ll play a key role in executing regional sales strategies, identifying new opportunities, and partnering with internal teams and distributors to grow the business. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive East Coast sales growth and execute regional plans
  • Develop new business and expand existing accounts
  • Build relationships with retail buyers and key decision-makers
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities across the territory
  • Partner with distribution and internal teams to support operations
  • Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
  • Provide regular forecasts, reporting, and sales updates
  • Travel throughout the region, with occasional trips to California

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2–5 years of sales experience (produce, perishable, or CPG preferred)
  • Retail account experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Understanding of retail purchasing structures and processes
  • Ability to develop new business and manage longer sales cycles
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
