Bookkeeping Manager/Reviewer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeping Manager/Reviewer to oversee the accuracy and quality of our clients’ financial records. This role is responsible for reviewing bookkeeping work, ensuring data integrity, and providing guidance to our bookkeeping team. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of monthly bookkeeping files
  • Identify and correct errors related to sales, transaction categorization, vendor entries, and reconciliations
  • Ensure transactions are accurately categorized and vendor naming is consistent across accounts
  • Review sales across multiple platforms to confirm data accuracy and completeness
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to bookkeepers to improve quality and efficiency
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for complex bookkeeping issues
  • Participate in kickoff calls to align on client goals and next steps
  • Review bookkeeping records for prospective clients and provide findings to support accurate scoping and quoting
  • Ensure all bookkeeping files are complete, accurate, and audit-ready
  • Perform bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up work as needed
  • Monitor and ensure all bookkeeping deadlines are consistently met

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and general ledger processes
  • Experience reviewing and managing bookkeeping work preferred
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

Preferred:

  • CPA or Certified Bookkeeper designation strongly preferred
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Experience working with multiple entities or high-volume transactions
  • Background in a client-facing or advisory role

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Experience:
