Associate Director Contracts (Hybrid)
Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking an Associate Director Contracts to join their team. Lead our Contracts team and ensure successful contract execution for our government programs! In this leadership role, you'll manage a team, oversee all aspects of contract management, and guide strategic initiatives for our Navy programs. Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentored a team of contract professionals across proposal support, negotiation, administration, and closeout.
- Partner with programs, finance, and legal to develop and implement winning contract strategies.
- Ensure adherence to FAR, DFAR, and internal policies for all contracts.
- Negotiate complex contracts, including prime contracts and subagreements.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement effective contract management processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of DoD contracts experience (research & development, systems integration, sustainment a plus).
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing a contracts team.
- Deep understanding of FAR, DFAR, and contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP, etc.).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- DoD Secret Clearance (must be able to obtain TS clearance).
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- MBA, JD, or other advanced degree.
- DoD Top Secret Clearance.
- Professional contracting certifications (CFCM, CPCM).
