Travel Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Fairport, NY

Deliver vital patient care and advanced telemetry monitoring as a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced unit. This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by ensuring patient safety and supporting clinical teams in an acute care environment. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, active RN license
  • Demonstrated experience in Telemetry or Cardiac Care nursing
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and interpretation of cardiac rhythms
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
  • Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms and promptly report changes
  • Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
  • Respond to emergencies and provide rapid, effective intervention
  • Communicate clearly with physicians, patients, and families regarding care plans and condition updates
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols
