Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Health Insurance Operations – Temporary to Permanent Remote Opportunity

We're now seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis, working remotely after an initial 8-week training period.

About the Role:

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in supporting our customer service team by researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing clear and concise information to resolve issues efficiently
  • Conducting research to gather accurate information and resolve customer complaints
  • Maintaining accurate records and data entry to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Adhering to arenaflex's quality standards and production requirements to ensure remote work eligibility

Key Responsibilities:

* Research and respond to customer inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner

  • Maintain accurate records and data entry to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Adhere to arenaflex's quality standards and production requirements to ensure remote work eligibility
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues

Essential Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED

  • 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare or health insurance environment
  • Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* 1 year of customer service experience

  • 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment
  • Experience working with various lines of business, such as CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Strong typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
