Tax Manager - CPA Required - Fully Remote in State of Texas
We are a boutique CPA firm located in North Dallas. We are about 15 employees now and growing fast. We just had 2 younger partners jump in the fray to push the firm to new heights. We work with a wide range of individual and business clients, as well as having a very robust trust & estate practice. While we are a little heavier in the high net worth space, our list of business client referrals is growing rapidly, and has been a main focus of the firm. As a firm we offer full benefits, flex time, remote flexibility, and limited busy season hours. We are looking for an experienced CPA to be a leader on our tax team. We want someone to be the middle man between the partners and our team of skilled seniors. We need someone with their CPA who can manage client relations, provide tax planning, IRS representation, and be a main return reviewer for the firm. What you need
- 5+ Years of Public Accounting Experience
- Active CPA
- Experience being main point of contact for clients
- Expert Tax Planner for businesses and Individuals
- Expert at reviewing and preparing tax returns for wide range of clients
- Ability to mentor and help develop senior and staff associates
- Strong Gift, Trust, and Estate return experince is major plus
Benefits
Base Salary: $110,000-$150,000

- Overtime Hours Banked for either additional PTO or paid out (mulitple times a year)
- Limited Busy Season Hours (50-55 hours - last 2-3 weeks before deadline)
- Fall Season typicailly around 40-45 hours a week
- Fully Remote Capability (in State of TX only)
