Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Resolving customer inquiries and complaints via written, telephonic, and face-to-face communication in a timely and accurate manner
  • Preparing adjustments for services not properly processed, either systematically or by forwarding to the appropriate area for follow-up and resolution
  • Meeting all production, quality, and adherence standards, including attending required training classes
  • Elevating issues to the next level of supervision, as appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate records, including timekeeping records
  • Performing other duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of customer service experience in a customer-facing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and respond to customers and their issues promptly and professionally
  • Ability to maintain composure under stressful and fast-paced conditions
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment and meeting standards
  • Ability to take direction and navigate through multiple systems simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Customer service experience in a call-center environment
  • Customer service experience in a healthcare-related call-center environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed
