Job Summary

As a CSR at arenaflex, you will be responsible for receiving and processing calls and emails from AYD participants, effectively communicating program guidelines, and scheduling pickup services for eligible customers. You will work closely with customers to address and resolve any service-related issues that may arise, while collaborating with fellow team members to meet call center objectives and enhance the overall customer experience. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and be able to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries received through phone and/or e-mail from participants/customers about the AYD Service and schedule approved household waste pickups.
  • Communicate concise and accurate information to customers, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.
  • Utilize authorized systems to gather information, provide updates, and maintain customer records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Produce reports as requested by management, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Confirm understanding of customer needs, issues, and requests, demonstrating empathy and a customer-centric approach.
  • Organize, create, and mail participant kits prior to scheduled pickup dates, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Perform outbound call campaigns as needed, contributing to the program's outreach and effectiveness.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
  • Three (3) years of relevant work experience in a customer service or call center environment handling customer requests, account or order changes, and issues.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong keyboarding skills and professional phone etiquette, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to handle stress and multitask effectively, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Energetic and tenacious achievement orientation, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to react well under pressure and treat others with respect, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Good time management skills to prioritize and plan work activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Focus on solving conflicts and listening to others without interrupting, demonstrating active listening skills and empathy.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team, adapting to the dynamic nature of the work environment.

  • Experience using a CRM system, with a strong understanding of customer relationship management principles.

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following skills and experiences would be beneficial in this role:

  • Experience in a call center environment handling customer service issues, with a focus on resolving complex problems and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with household waste management services, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
