Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service/Sales Associate at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to interact with customers, provide expert advice, and contribute to the overall success of our store. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and welcoming customers into the store with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Providing exceptional customer service by listening to and addressing customer inquiries and concerns
  • Assisting customers with product selection, providing expert advice and recommendations
  • Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals by actively promoting and upselling products
  • Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, restocking shelves and ensuring displays are visually appealing
  • Continuously learning about new products and services offered by arenaflex to better assist customers
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the store
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for arenaflex, representing the company in a professional and positive manner
  • Continuously striving to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service
  • Following all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of customers and team members
  • Attending training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to accurately answer customer questions and make appropriate recommendations
  • Assisting with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
  • Handling customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude, contributing to a positive work environment
  • Adhering to the company's core values and standards of behavior at all times
  • Participating in special projects or events as assigned by management
  • Continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional development

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the home improvement industry or a related field

  • Knowledge of arenaflex products and services
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Previous experience with POS systems and inventory management software
  • Certification in customer service or sales
