Information Security Engineer – Remote Opportunity!
Job Title: Information Security Engineer Location: Remote Salary: $110K – $125K Term: Fulltime, Permanent Open to US Citizen and Green Card holders only. Overview: Seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to enhance and secure cloud-based services, applications, and infrastructure. This role involves conducting security assessments, automating threat detection, managing compliance, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve security practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls and best practices.
- Will be working and supporting the DevOps team to deploy security automation and secure the cloud.
- Keep data and information safe and secure.
- Collaborate with different departments across the business.
- Managing vendor management partnerships.
- Create and deliver security training; report and escalate incidents as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Information Security or Compliance.
- Must have Compliance or Security Information certificate.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S), cloud security, and risk management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
