The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: · Meeting, or exceeding designated sales quota in your territory. · Partnering with local channel to execute growth initiatives, strategies and programs · Developing end-user customers and application processes to drive growth · Providing key market and customers insights to the global team and to local management · Effectively and consistently managing the opportunity pipeline while strategically planning for new opportunities and markets · Supporting our customers in specifying 3M products into construction projects. · Training customers, local code officials, applicators and architects on 3M portfolios · Analyzing customer needs and informing on needed product testing & certification decisions · Providing objective technical advice to help customers deliver code-compliant solutions Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in a relevant discipline. · Current, valid Driver’s License. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: · Master's degree or MBA from an accredited institution 10 years of combined experience working within the construction industry. · Skills include customer support, construction jobsite training, inspection and reporting. · Developing market assessments & executive briefings · Familiar with local building codes and standards le in size and scope.
