Senior Accounting Manager - East Coast Remote
Publicly Traded Technology Company CPA Required A high-growth public technology company is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join its expanding finance organization. This is a highly visible role supporting a fast-paced business environment and partnering closely with leadership across accounting, finance, FP&A, and operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in technical accounting and month-end close, thrives in a dynamic environment, and enjoys building scalable processes within a public company setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting support
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, tax, audit, and operational teams
- Support SEC reporting processes and public company compliance requirements
- Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and internal control enhancements
- Mentor and develop junior accounting team members
- Support external audit requests and SOX compliance activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA strongly preferred
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting and/or public company experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Experience in the technology or SaaS industry preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
- Ability to operate independently in a remote environment while collaborating across teams
