Key Responsibilities
As a Retention Specialist, your primary goal is to retain existing customers for one of our top clients by demonstrating the value of their life insurance policies. You will work directly with policyholders who may be considering canceling their policies, explaining the benefits of maintaining their coverage. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in high-volume phone contact with policyholders requesting cancellations
- Reselling the benefits of life insurance and highlighting its importance
- Handling cancellation requests and providing thorough, personalized service
- Maintaining high standards for call volume, handling time, and overall time management
- Ensuring customer satisfaction in every interaction, whether via phone, email, or written correspondence
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Part-Time Remote Customer Retention Specialist Evening Shift. The ideal candidate will have:
- 1+ years of experience in a high-volume contact center environment, a receptionist role, or any role that involved frequent phone interaction (strict requirement)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Remote work experience is strongly preferred, though not required
- Reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload with a hard-wired connection)
- Smartphone access for VPN use
- Upselling or retention experience is a preferred
- Quiet and professional workspace
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic keyboard functions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Must be detail-oriented and customer-focused
Perks
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- Pay: $16.35 per hour (+$1.00 if bilingual in Spanish and able to pass bilingual assessment)
- Eligible for bonus pay based on performance
- Schedule:
+ Part-time evening shift: Monday - Friday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM CST, Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM CST + Work from Home: Equipment provided + Training: 4 weeks of paid training (Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM CST - 9:00 PM CST)
