Job Details This role is in support of Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally. The Technology and Solutions Strategist is a dynamic sales professional who deeply understands our customers’ business and will bring MWI technology innovations and an experienced perspective to our customers. The Technology and Solutions Strategist will advise our customers on how Cencora MWI Animal Health platform components, innovative services and capital equipment investments will intersect and orchestrate a positive experience at the practice level and the end user (pet owner, producer, integrator) level. This role will lead and support territory managers in assigned regions to achieve consolidated goals around strategic activities that will enhance and inspire customer partnerships and lead to profitable growth for Cencora MWI Animal Health. The ideal candidate will have a naturally analytical thought process and a love for problem solving. Position requires 50-75% travel. Territory includes: Upstate New York, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Achieve consolidated revenue budget and strategic placement goals for platform components, innovative solutions & services, and capital equipment. Lead and support Territory Managers in developing and closing sales opportunity for platform components, innovative services and capital equipment. Work closely with field sales to identify technology solution and equipment opportunities with existing and potential customers using market intelligence and analytics. Use consultative selling techniques to strategize and educate customers on new technologies and solutions that will improve short and long-term success for customers. Track and report on set of performance metrics for product portfolio, such as customer conversations, win rate, number of new technology or solutions placed, potential opportunities, etc. Partner with development teams to convey product/solution information and feedback from the field and customers to drive continuous improvement and opportunities with strategic solutions platforms. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of customer workflows and MWI’s platform components and products, and understand how they weave together to orchestrate a positive user experience Be a sales pipeline tool user and evangelist, and possess the capacity to navigate reporting and maximize capabilities Develop and Execute sales strategies with high level of ability Experience and Educational Requirements: Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology or bachelor’s degree in an Animal Health field preferred. Minimum of five years Animal Health equipment and/or solution sales experience with a track record of success in managing and growing accounts. Deep knowledge of technology and solutions and how to orchestrate them into a positive user experience as well as thorough understanding of market dynamics, evolving trends, and the needs of key stakeholders and customers. Thorough understanding of the organization and relevant team expertise to best serve customer and business needs. Strong rapport and ability to work across the organization. Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements: Requires a demonstrated track record of successful account management skills. Must be comfortable working independently and in partnership with others while servicing customers, and regularly applying business judgment to application of company policies. Thorough understanding of technology and solutions and how to orchestrate them into customer workflows and a positive user experience Self-motivated, strong interpersonal, multitasking, organizational and project planning skills Significant experience in complex sales cycle Strong computer skills in order to operate with company systems and programs; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Salesforce.com or related CRM experience preferred Knowledge of the marketplace required Travel requirements greater than 50% What Cencora offers We provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
