Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative in our Healthcare Operations team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers, processing Medicare contracts, appointments, and verification of certification for external producers/agents, and supplementing the background check review and documentation process. You'll work in a fast-paced production environment, and you'll be expected to be empathetic and compassionate in your interactions with customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Process Medicare contracts, appointments, and verification of certification for external producers/agents.
  • Supplement the background check review and documentation process as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment, meeting productivity and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and support each other in our roles.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Essential Qualifications

* High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in a production environment, preferably in a customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity and quality standards.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and use new software and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a transaction-based environment such as a call center or retail location.

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in multiple languages.
  • Experience with data entry and processing, preferably in a healthcare or insurance environment.
  • Knowledge of Medicare contracts, appointments, and verification of certification processes.
