Experienced Distribution Customer Service Representative – Hybrid Role with arenaflex

In this role, you'll be the face of arenaflex, interacting with customers to resolve their inquiries, process orders, and handle complaints in a prompt, courteous, and effective manner. You'll be the go-to person for all customer-related matters, working closely with our Traffic and Operations Departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities

As a Distribution Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and more
• Processing and inputting all customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Producing stock reports to check for product availability and ensuring timely delivery
• Coordinating special and last-minute shipping requests with our Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary
• Providing follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met
• Assuring proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices
• Preparing shipping and tracing information for customers as required
• Maintaining damage records and back-order logs
• Communicating customer feedback to management, including any signs of dissatisfaction
• Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes
• Overseeing all paperwork associated with orders and maintaining corresponding files
• Maintaining current and accurate procedure manuals, detailing processing requirements for each account

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications
• Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key
• Experience with shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in varying facility conditions
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed
