Job Summary

As a Tagalog-English bilingual healthcare customer service representative, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our diverse patient population. You'll be responsible for responding to patient inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about our services and programs. Your exceptional communication skills, empathy, and cultural competence will enable you to build strong relationships with our patients and their families, ensuring that they receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide information about arenaflex services and programs, including eligibility, benefits, and access to care
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, using clear and concise language to ensure understanding
  • Use cultural competence and empathy to build strong relationships with patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and communications
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to arenaflex policies, procedures, and standards of care

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare customer service or a related field
  • Fluency in Tagalog and English languages, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a customer service or patient support role

  • Certification in medical terminology, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, including proficiency in other languages spoken by arenaflex patients
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with cultural or linguistic barriers
  • Familiarity with arenaflex services and programs, including eligibility, benefits, and access to care
