Area Sales Manager, Animal Nutrition – United States of America & Canada

About the position Reporting to our Sales Director, Animal Nutrition, you will oversee the commercial development of our specialty products in animal nutrition via distributors and in B2B in the United States of America and Canada. Supported by our technical, marketing, logistics and quality teams, your main missions will be: To be the face to the market representing our company and products in your area To review and update our market approach if needed To be curious, creative and agile for developing new business To create and implement actions plan To “farm” existing partners and actively convert prospects into new ones To promote and develop the sales of our added value and cost effective products To support and train distributors To develop B2B partnerships To identify new targeted stakeholders To guarantee customers’ satisfaction To insure the reporting of your commercial activity (CRM, monthly review). A support from the Sales Director & the technical/marketing teams as well as an extensive onboarding will ensure you a fast adaptation. Profile : As a self-starter and a strong entrepreneur, being market and results oriented, you like offering added value to your customers and you like developing business that way. You like to be part of an international company and acting at international level by yourselves. You preferably graduated in agri/agro engineering, biology or veterinary science or you graduated in international business. A minimum experience of 5 to 8 years is mandatory, preferably in animal nutrition . Experience in ruminants is very welcome (beef, dairy cattle). Your key factors of success rely on your entrepreneurial skills, on your ground presence (at least 50%), your capacity to adapt yourselves to your interlocutors, your strength of conviction and your tenacity.
