Job Summary
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for working closely with application teams to define, frame, and capture business needs. You'll develop knowledge of Voice of the Customer methods and leverage this expertise to define and transform data within our big data platform. You'll also design and build robust data model architecture to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with application teams to define, frame, and capture business needs
- Develop knowledge of Voice of the Customer methods and leverage this expertise to define and transform data within our big data platform
- Design and build robust data model architecture to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions
- Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python) to deliver innovative solutions
- Provide guidance to enhance competencies and drive efficiency in computing programs using big data ecosystems
- Power customer story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software programs, testing, and builds automation tools
- Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency
Requirements
* Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, shell scripting languages, and build management and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven projects (minimum 3 years)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative delivery approaches
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data entry, data analysis, or related field
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
