Shopify Plus Engineer
You will manage the development and maintenance of Shopify Plus stores to ensure scalability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom Shopify themes and modify existing ones to meet business requirements.
- Design and build custom apps to integrate business systems and provide specialized functionality.
- Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance store capabilities.
- Optimize website performance, including page load speed and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot technical platform issues and mentor junior developers.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Shopify Engineer.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Shopify Liquid, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building custom storefronts using Shopify Hydrogen and deploying with Shopify Oxygen.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus advanced features.
- Strong knowledge of API development and webhooks.
- Practical understanding of e-commerce best practices and SEO principles.
- Experience working within a Scrum framework.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
