Mental Health Therapist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC
Job Description:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to patients via telehealth
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in our electronic medical record
- Participate in care coordination with our PMHNPs and psychiatrist when needed
- Follow internal clinical guidelines, documentation standards, and compliance requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and telehealth regulations
- Conducting new patient intake screenings
- Scheduling patients for both your own therapy sessions and for our psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Assisting with patient communication and follow-up
- Helping identify appropriate provider–patient matches based on clinical needs
- Supporting workflow improvements and contributing to a positive patient experience
Requirements:
- Active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in Virginia
- Experience providing virtual therapy for adults (experience and comfort with ages 7+ preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and comfort balancing clinical and operational responsibilities
- Strong technical skills - you will need to be fluent in a variety of software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while engaging as part of a collaborative team
- Professionalism, empathy, and reliability in a remote clinical environment
- Prior credentialing with Virginia payors preferred but not required
