Responsibilities

• Design and develop distribution systems using DDS.
• Perform design engineering for power delivery projects, focusing on pole design, relocation, and replacements.
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control across all projects.
• Collaborate with teams to support Centerpoint or AEP projects with an emphasis on resiliency and new pole location design.
• Maintain project timelines and deliverables in a remote work environment.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a distribution engineer, designer, or design engineer.
• At least 3 years of experience with DDS (Preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in resiliency or DDP, including new pole location and roadway pole relocations.
• 2+ years of QA/QC experience in related projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in power delivery and pole design.
• Experience with pole relocation and replacements.
• Strong leadership capabilities.

Work Environment

This is a remote position operating Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. There is potential for flexible working hours upon approval. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
