Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Description

Sales will be focused on VIAVI’s Tier III Accounts District and associated customers using existing and underdevelopment, VIAVI Fiber, Metro, and CIVT products. Management of a hybrid channel environment where direction is given to Rep and Distribution partners. Individual will work with Business unit Product marketing and Engineering resources to define solutions that solve customer needs and manage customer process for acquisition. Individual will maintain Key account plans for target customers and regularly communicate strategic vision to management. Individual will maintain monthly forecast and key funnel metrics associated with assigned accounts/region. Key Responsibilities: Working directly with Tier III Customers, Manufacturing Reps and Channel Partners to drive the overall sales strategy within a given geography to meet revenue growth objectives, providing close support to our customers throughout the entire life-cycle of our products, and aligning Viavi solutions with customer’s needs to achieve business metrics and KPIs. This will be supported by providing solutions to our customers business challenges through projects that would include Software, Services, and Hardware offerings. The successful Account Executive will also have responsibility for managing interfaces between the customer and Viavi business unit support teams. Additional Responsibilities: Develop, modify, track, and execute a Sales Strategy/Account Plan Face to face customer interaction Customer support and training Success Indicators: A working knowledge of current PON, Ethernet and Cable technologies Effective communicating with executives of Telecommunications Operators Self-starter with ability to work equally well as part of a team or independently Willingness and desire to travel 51-75% Additional Job Description Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in related disciplines such as Technology, Engineering, Business 1-3 years of professional sales experience Desired Additional Qualifications: Strong process orientation (negotiation, sales, project implementation, multi-tasking time management, etc.) Track record of success in selling leading edge solutions into complex accounts (hunting or farming at either mid-tier or large accounts) is desired Team player with collaborative approach to drive complex teams (Client and Viavi stakeholders) toward mutual goals If you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.
