Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows and decision-making Develop, test, and maintain software or data-driven applications under guidance of senior engineers Write clean, readable, and well-documented code following standard engineering practices Participate in the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment Debug issues, perform unit testing, and support quality improvements Collaborate with team members such as engineers, testers, and product partners Learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and technologies as required Follow established security, privacy, and compliance standards You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or similar 2+ years of experience with / understanding of basic software engineering concepts, data structures, and algorithms 2+ years of experience with / exposure to machine learning concepts or data analysis through coursework or projects (AI/ML track) 2+ years of experience / familiarity with version control tools and basic development workflows Soft Skills: Good communication and teamwork skills Internship, academic projects, or hands-on training is a plus but not required *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
