Job overview: We’re looking for a Data Analyst to own reporting and analysis that directly informs business decisions at Elsa. This isn’t a pure SQL-and-dashboards seat - routine pulls are increasingly automated, so we want someone who pairs strong technical fundamentals with business judgment and the ability to work fluently with AI tooling to move faster and go deeper.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain dashboards and reporting in Looker, and turn ambiguous business questions into clear analyses Write and optimize SQL against our data warehouse to support self-serve and ad-hoc needs Partner with product, finance, and ops stakeholders to define metrics, surface insights, and drive decisions Own data quality and definitions for the domains you support Use AI-augmented workflows to scale the routine work and spend your time on interpretation and recommendations What You Will Have 2–4 years in analytics with strong SQL and hands-on BI experience (Looker strongly preferred) Comfort translating between business stakeholders and data — not just producing charts, but explaining what they mean Solid grasp of metric design, experimentation basics, and data modeling concepts Curiosity about applying LLM/AI tools to analytics work Clear written and verbal communication Nice-to-Have: Python for analysis, dbt or modeling-layer exposure, prior SaaS/fintech/consumer experience
