[Remote] Forward-Deployed Engineer

The Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE) is responsible for end-to-end project delivery and ensuring long-term customer success by deploying production-ready AI solutions and deeply analyzing customer workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical deep-dive sessions with clients during extended engagements to map their complex data landscapes, business processes, and pain points to robust, production-grade AI workflows
- Build, deploy, and maintain custom multi-agent AI systems using Python and Tessera’s AI tools, moving beyond simple POCs to deliver fully operationalized solutions that drive tangible business value
- Analyze, clean, and transform customer data to power live AI workflows. You will take a leading role in executing complex data migration projects and architecting robust, production-ready integrations with various edge systems
- Act as the primary technical liaison for our largest clients, translating complex statistical or technical concepts into clear business outcomes, project milestones, and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Gather deep, real-world insights from long-term client engagements and share feedback with the Product and Engineering teams to help shape our core platform roadmap based on live production use cases
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Data Science, Business Analytics, Implementation, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or a related field
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
- Proven experience executing or supporting complex data migration projects
- Hands-on experience building new integrations with edge systems
- Highly Coachable: You have a strong growth mindset. You actively seek out feedback, are eager to learn from senior team members, and are highly willing to adjust or rethink your approaches when faced with new information or challenges
- Willingness to travel to customer sites 1 to 3 times a month on average, pending client needs, primarily within the U.S
- Comfortable writing Python scripts to solve real-world data problems and build robust system integrations
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences over the course of a long-term project
- Comfortable operating under ambiguity and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment
- Familiarity with systems like Salesforce, Snowflake, Profisee or other SAP modules is a bonus
