Business Development Representative (Outside Sales)

USP Group is a creative production and brand solutions partner that assists businesses in executing marketing initiatives and simplifying complex projects. They are seeking an outgoing Business Development & Partnerships Representative to build relationships and identify opportunities throughout Southern California.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with local businesses, agencies, corporate offices, and organizations
  • Meet with decision-makers in marketing, operations, HR, procurement, and executive leadership roles
  • Attend networking events, community functions, trade shows, and industry gatherings
  • Conduct proactive outreach and business development activities to generate new opportunities
  • Generate qualified meetings and introductions for our leadership team
  • Learn about client challenges and identify opportunities where USP Group can provide value
  • Position USP Group as a strategic resource rather than a transactional vendor
  • Maintain prospect activity and pipeline within our CRM
  • Help establish long-term partnerships that create recurring business opportunities

  • Curious and able to ask thoughtful questions to uncover business needs
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Professional, organized, and dependable
  • Comfortable networking, prospecting, and initiating conversations with new contacts
  • Interested in marketing, branding, business development, or client services
  • Previous experience in sales, recruiting, account management, agency services, marketing, hospitality, or business development is a plus
