[Remote] Account Executive: North America (US / Canada)

As an Account Executive focused on the North American SMB market, you will help accelerate growth by managing the end-to-end sales cycle and building relationships with key decision-makers in fast-growing SaaS companies.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across the North American SMB market
- Manage the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed agreement
- Work closely with Vanta's sales team on joint opportunities and co-selling motions
- Build strong relationships with startup founders, technical leaders, and operators
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in HubSpot
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to consistently meet or exceed targets
- Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to shape tailored solutions
- Take a proactive, problem-solving approach, even beyond your immediate remit
- Continuously develop your sales craft and cybersecurity domain knowledge
Skills
- 1–2 years of closing experience as an Account Executive
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets
- Comfortable selling to SMB and scale-up customers
- Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot
- Strong discovery, qualification, and commercial conversation skills
- Self-starter mentality with excellent organisation and time management
- Confident communicator, able to build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience selling compliance, security, or GRC solutions
- Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks
