As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls with a high level of professionalism and empathy
  • Delivering exceptional customer service experiences consistently, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Managing customer accounts and providing technical support, ensuring that customers have a seamless experience with our products and services
  • Entering application data accurately and efficiently, ensuring that customer information is up-to-date and secure
  • Responding to online chat inquiries as assigned, providing timely and effective support to customers
  • Interpreting and following defined procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Utilizing creative problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and concerns
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing projects and updates, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Completing extensive self-study, training, and testing, with eligibility to proceed through training and certifications dependent on passing required exams
  • Adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • A high level of professionalism, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Comfortable working from home, with a dedicated, private, and secure workspace
  • Self-motivation and a success-driven attitude, with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • A minimum of 18 years of age, with a reliable internet connection and a personal laptop or desktop computer
  • *Preferred Experience**

While not required, previous experience in customer support or technical support roles, particularly in the health insurance industry, is highly desirable. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, as well as Spanish bilingual skills, are also a plus.

• Base pay: $14.50 per hour

  • Enhanced rate: $16.00 per hour, contingent on weekly attendance and performance
  • Spanish bilingual base pay: $15.50 per hour
  • Spanish bilingual enhanced rate: $17.00 per hour, contingent on weekly attendance and performance
