About arenaflex – Innovating the Future of E‑Commerce

arenaflex is a world‑leading e‑commerce platform that connects millions of shoppers with an expansive selection of home goods, furniture, and lifestyle products. Since its inception, arenaflex has grown into a technology‑driven marketplace that leverages massive data sets, advanced analytics, and cutting‑edge automation to deliver seamless shopping experiences worldwide. Our mission is to turn data into actionable insight, empowering every part of the organization—from product sourcing to customer service—to make smarter, faster decisions. As a remote‑first company, arenaflex embraces flexible work arrangements, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Why This Role Matters

In the fast‑paced arena of online retail, accurate and timely data entry is the backbone of operational excellence. As a Remote Data Entry Analyst on the OPR Examination Group, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to transform raw data into reliable information that drives strategic initiatives across the Global Operations and Store Network. Your work will directly influence product availability, pricing strategies, inventory optimization, and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Consolidation & Cleansing: Gather, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources—including supplier feeds, internal databases, and third‑party platforms—to ensure a single source of truth for the organization.
  • Analytical Modeling: Build and maintain factual and logical models that support cross‑functional analytics, enabling teams to uncover trends, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaboration with Data Teams: Work closely with Data Architecture, Data Visualization, and Business Intelligence groups to design and deploy scalable data solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Insight Generation: Apply data science techniques and statistical methods to answer complex business questions, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the subject‑matter expert for data, analysis, and insight within the Global Operations team, ensuring senior leadership receives accurate performance metrics and trend analyses.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase automation across the supply chain and store network.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), diagnose root causes of variances, and propose data‑driven solutions to improve efficiency and visibility.
  • Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive documentation for data pipelines and provide training to peers on best practices for data handling and reporting.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience performing quantitative analysis on large data sets, preferably within an e‑commerce or retail environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) and at least one programming language such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong SQL skills (T‑SQL, Google BigQuery, Vertica, or comparable data warehouse technologies) including complex joins, sub‑queries, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining data integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects end‑to‑end on schedule, working both independently and as part of a collaborative, multicultural team.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with cloud‑based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and ETL tools.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning basics, or predictive analytics.
  • Background in supply chain, inventory management, or retail operations analytics.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies and familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Asana.
  • Ability to think creatively, solve ambiguous problems, and propose innovative data‑driven solutions.

Career Growth & Learning Opportunities

arenaflex invests heavily in employee development. As a member of the OPR Examination Group, you will have access to:

  • Mentorship programs with senior data scientists and business leaders.
  • Continuous learning subscriptions (Coursera, Udemy, DataCamp) to deepen technical expertise.
  • Opportunities to work on high‑impact projects that influence global strategy.
  • Clear career pathways toward senior analyst, data engineer, or analytics manager roles.
  • Cross‑departmental rotations that broaden exposure to product, marketing, finance, and technology functions.
