Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Execution: Own the end‑to‑end delivery of decentralized clinical studies, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high‑performing DCT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Product Innovation teams throughout study design, activation, execution, and close‑out.
• Vendor Management: Oversee the selection, qualification, and performance of decentralized trial vendors, including contract negotiations, scope definition, and UAT oversight.
• Protocol Development: Guide the creation of study documents such as protocols, informed consent forms (ICFs), statistical analysis plans (SAPs), data management plans (DMPs), and safety plans.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison for remote clinical site visits, site initiations, and study close‑outs, ensuring seamless interaction with investigators and sponsors.
• Business Development Support: Contribute to proposal development, budgeting, and bid defense activities to win new decentralized trial opportunities.
• Compliance & SOP Maintenance: Develop, update, and enforce SOPs, policies, and procedures that align with ICH GCP, US CFR, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in clinical research, with at least 4 years leading decentralized or hybrid trial projects.
• Demonstrated success managing multi‑million‑dollar budgets and complex timelines.
• Deep understanding of DCT vendor ecosystems, including technology platforms, logistics providers, and patient recruitment services.
• Extensive knowledge of ICH GCP, US CFR, HIPAA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
