Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Quality Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a broad spectrum of activities that span the entire product lifecycle. Your day‑to‑day duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and Execution of QA Activities: Develop comprehensive quality assurance plans for data entry exercises, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal best practices.
  • Test Planning and Management: Create detailed test plans, schedules, and execution strategies for product validation, covering functional, performance, and reliability testing.
  • Methodology Development: Establish and refine testing methodologies, experiment designs, and data collection procedures to improve test effectiveness.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with design, manufacturing, and production teams to support quality initiatives throughout product development and launch phases.
  • Data Analysis and Root‑Cause Investigation: Analyze test results, identify failure trends, and conduct root‑cause analyses to drive corrective actions.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and continuously improve specialized records, templates, and databases that capture test outcomes, quality metrics, and compliance evidence.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Perform risk assessments such as DFMEA, PFMEA, and DVP&R, and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce potential quality issues.
  • Support for Quality Claims: Provide data‑driven support for internal and external quality claims, ensuring that all documentation meets audit requirements.
  • Capacity Studies and Gage R&R: Conduct capacity studies and gauge repeatability & reproducibility analyses to validate measurement systems.
  • Audit and Compliance: Lead audits of customer specifications, SORs, and other technical requirements, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, propose enhancements, and lead implementation of best‑practice quality initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following foundational qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or a related scientific discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in QA/QC, testing, product development, or related fields, with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality results.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Data Entry Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data entry tasks with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
