Key Responsibilities

Strategic Development & Execution

  • Collaborate closely with the MD of Ocean to design and implement strategies that increase ocean freight volumes and improve competitive positioning.
  • Develop and refine pricing programs, ensuring they reflect market dynamics, cost structures, and profitability targets.
  • Analyze carrier service metrics, routing efficiencies, and performance trends to recommend actionable improvements.
  • Support the creation of an ocean product roadmap that aligns with sales objectives and customer expectations.

Data‑Driven Decision Making

  • Gather, cleanse, and interpret large data sets related to carrier performance, shipment volumes, and pricing elasticity.
  • Produce regular dashboards and executive‑level reports that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, cost per TEU, and yield enhancement.
  • Utilize statistical tools and forecasting models to predict market shifts and advise on proactive strategy adjustments.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the ocean subject‑matter expert for sales, operations, and product teams, providing insights that drive account development and service excellence.
  • Facilitate communication between global trade‑lane teams, carrier partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategy, pricing, and service standards.

Essential Qualifications
