Role Overview – External Support Engineer (Entry Level, Remote)

arenaflex is seeking an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented External Support Engineer to serve as the vital bridge between our external content creation teams and the internal tools engineering group. This entry‑level, remote position is perfect for recent graduates or professionals looking to launch a career in technical support, tool development, and cross‑functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Provide prompt, courteous assistance to external content teams using arenaflex’s suite of content creation tools.
  • Documentation & Training: Create clear, user‑friendly reference guides, tutorials, and training sessions to accelerate onboarding for new external partners.
  • Issue Diagnosis & Resolution: Investigate, debug, and resolve tool‑related problems, ensuring minimal disruption to production workflows.
  • Escalation Management: Identify complex or high‑impact issues, log them in arenaflex’s tracking system, and collaborate with the tool development team to drive timely fixes.
  • Advocacy & Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from external teams, propose workflow enhancements, and act as an advocate for user‑centric improvements.
  • Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with engineers, product managers, and quality assurance specialists to design and refine tools that boost efficiency and quality across the content pipeline.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting live services, tools, or platforms in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with C# codebases and the ability to read and understand source code.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with external partners.
  • Excellent organizational abilities; capable of juggling multiple requests and priorities without sacrificing quality.
  • Self‑motivated mindset with a positive attitude toward receiving and delivering constructive feedback.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Hands‑on experience developing or supporting tools within arenaflex’s proprietary 3D environment (formerly known as Unity 3D).
  • Exposure to mobile development workflows for arenaflex’s iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficiency with arenaflex’s issue‑tracking and documentation suite (formerly known as Jira and Confluence), including ticket creation, status updates, and knowledge‑base contributions.
  • At least five years of experience delivering production‑level code in a professional setting (or equivalent accelerated learning through internships or projects).
