Do you enjoy solving complex problems, automating repetitive tasks, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver world‑class services? If so, arenaflex invites you to become a key member of our SRE organization, where you will work directly under the guidance of senior engineers and the CTO’s office to ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of our critical products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Provisioning & Maintenance: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and patching of servers, containers, and cloud resources across multiple data centers and public cloud providers.
  • Automation & Tooling: Design, develop, and maintain scripts and tools that automate routine operational tasks such as provisioning, health checks, and log aggregation.
  • Root‑Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough post‑mortem investigations, document findings, and propose actionable improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaboration with Product & Engineering Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand service requirements and translate them into reliable operational practices.
  • Capacity Planning & Performance Tuning: Analyze system metrics, forecast growth trends, and recommend scaling strategies to meet future demand.
  • Customer Support Integration: Serve as a technical liaison for the Call Support and Customer Help desks, providing clear, empathetic communication and rapid resolution of user‑reported issues.

  • Fundamental understanding of Linux operating systems and command‑line tools.
  • Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with cloud‑native best practices.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose non‑routine problems and devise pragmatic solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when interacting with non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of compiled languages such as C, C++, Go, or Rust.
  • Experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and security concepts.
  • Familiarity with orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and experience managing container clusters.
  • Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
  • Prior exposure to incident management frameworks (PagerDuty, Opsgenie) and on‑call rotations.
  • Passion for continuous learning, open‑source contributions, or personal projects related to reliability engineering.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, fostering trust and shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Problem‑Solving: Creative thinking paired with systematic troubleshooting to resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Empathy for end‑users and a commitment to delivering seamless experiences, even under pressure.
  • Adaptability: Comfort navigating a fast‑paced environment where priorities shift rapidly and new technologies emerge.
  • Accountability: Ownership of tasks from inception through delivery, with a focus on quality and reliability.
