Join arenaflex: Where Data Meets Purpose in the Sky

Are you a detail-oriented data professional with a passion for turning numbers into narratives that drive business growth? arenaflex is seeking a motivated and analytical Remote Data Entry & Sales Analytics Consultant to join our expanding team supporting our Business Travel division. If you thrive on uncovering hidden patterns in complex datasets, enjoy collaborating with sales professionals, and want to contribute to a purpose-driven organization that values both people and performance, this opportunity is designed for you.

At arenaflex, we believe that connecting people to what matters most in their lives is more than a business objective—it is a calling. Our commitment to friendly, reliable, and low-cost service extends not only to our Customers but to every member of our team. As an organization founded on principles of innovation, respect, and continuous improvement, arenaflex offers a work environment where creativity is encouraged, professional development is championed, and every Employee is treated with the dignity and care that defines our corporate culture.

This role is a fully remote position based in Delaware, USA, offering an attractive compensation range of $30–$40 per hour. Whether you are an experienced data analyst seeking to specialize in the transportation and travel industry, or a transitioning professional with a strong foundation in data manipulation and business intelligence, this role provides the platform, tools, and mentorship to elevate your career.

Position Overview

As a Remote Data Entry & Sales Analytics Consultant at arenaflex, you will serve as a critical link between raw data and strategic decision-making. Your primary responsibility will involve analyzing internal and external travel data generated by our Business Customers, transforming that data into actionable insights, and presenting your findings to Account Managers, Customer Success Consultants, and Corporate Travel Managers.

This is not a typical data entry position. While accurate data management and entry form part of your foundation, the role is fundamentally about interpretation, storytelling, and influence. You will be the person who looks at a spreadsheet and sees opportunity—who converts numbers into narratives that help sales teams close deals, who identifies trends before they become obvious, and who empowers senior leadership to make informed decisions backed by evidence.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a polished communicator, and a self-directed professional who enjoys working with both technology and people. You should be comfortable working independently, managing ambiguity, and pivoting quickly when priorities shift in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Customer-Centric Insights: Analyze internal and Customer data alongside Account Manager insights throughout the entire sales cycle to identify opportunities and help achieve sales targets. Your findings will directly influence revenue generation strategies and partnership decisions.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work seamlessly with Account Managers and the Customer Success Team to develop and execute account strategies, craft compelling contract proposals, and deliver persuasive presentations that resonate with prospective and current Business Customers.
  • Participate in Customer Engagements: Actively take part in Customer meetings to listen carefully to needs, present tailored agreement proposals, and collaborate on identifying opportunities and establishing shared objectives.
  • Transform Data into Actionable Intelligence: Convert raw data into easily understandable, presentable, and actionable findings. Share these insights with Senior Leaders, sales team partners, Customers, and other key stakeholders to drive performance and identify new business opportunities.
  • Apply Technical Expertise: Use your technical skills in SQL, Alteryx, and other data-oriented tools to respond to business requests, solve complex problems, and proactively identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Conduct Trend Analysis and Process Improvement: Perform research and analysis of industry trends, develop new processes and tools, and create reports that support expanded sales from corporate accounts while improving efficiency across the entire sales cycle.
  • Communicate Effectively with Customers: Deliver insights, identify opportunities, prepare Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a manner that builds trust and demonstrates value.
  • Develop Tailored Reports: Create customized reports that meet unique business requirements and provide financial analysis to support corporate sales operations and Customer activities.
  • Engage in Data Quality Management: Participate in the development, improvement, and quality control of data sets through ongoing conversations with internal and external partners. Apply appropriate data management techniques, including privacy standards and governance protocols.
  • Adapt and Execute: May perform other job duties as directed by leadership, contributing to the broader goals of the team and organization.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong foundation in mathematics, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and economics, along with the ability to apply these principles to real-world business challenges. You should also possess working knowledge of transportation concepts—including the relative costs and benefits of moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road—and familiarity with sales and marketing principles, including techniques for presenting, promoting, and selling services or products.

Specifically, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:

  • Data Mastery: Skilled in identifying, collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating information. This includes transforming raw data into meaningful facts using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
  • SQL Proficiency: Advanced ability to use SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets.
  • Excel Expertise: Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling, and visualization.
  • Analytical Thinking: Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Logical Reasoning: Skilled in using logic and reasoning to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate complex topics and distilled insights to a variety of audiences, bridging the gap between data and stakeholders.
  • Active Listening: Ability to listen attentively, understand diverse perspectives, and communicate ideas effectively through writing, speaking, and presenting to groups.
  • Autonomy and Adaptability: Ability to think independently, work autonomously, handle ambiguity, and pivot quickly to solve difficult problems in a dynamic environment.
  • Pattern Recognition: Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions, including identifying relationships among seemingly unrelated events.
  • Strategic Influence: Ability to independently transform raw data into clear and actionable insights, effectively communicate and influence others, execute strategies, and adapt performance across various entities, industries, and customer segments.

Education and Experience Requirements

Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. While a bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Information Systems is preferred, equivalent professional experience will be strongly considered.

Experience: We are seeking candidates with intermediate-level experience and proven, specialized expertise in the following areas:

  • Sales analysis and the transportation industry
  • Solving ambiguous problems and developing clear action plans
  • Working with large datasets and multiple data sources
  • Independently translating raw data into actionable insights
  • Influencing stakeholders to drive change and improve outcomes

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Ability to perform work duties from a limited-space workstation, desk, or home office for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language, both verbally and in writing, to meet the demands of the position
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet position requirements
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance in alignment with company standards
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or possess current authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must comply with company attendance requirements
  • Must maintain confidentiality of proprietary, confidential, and sensitive company information
