Senior Manager Patient Engagement Oncology – 40-50% Travel, West Coast, U.S., Remote Summary: We are currently working with an expanding Oncology Biotech that is expanding their Patient engagement /Services team. They need someone who can support and guide patients, clinical practice and care partners throughout each patient’s treatment. As the point of contact, you will educate, provide resources and personalized support to help optimize the overall patient experience. This is an important role in transforming cancer care while working alongside a driven team that provides patient access services, using technology, and strong engagement to improve the delivery of life changing medications. Description: In this role, you will communicate effectively with patients and care partners, meeting them at their location in their treatment process. Make assessments and tailor support based on individual patient needs, including disease state, demographics, and treatment stage. Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including care partners and clinical practice staff, internal teams (Patient Access Specialists and Field Reimbursement Managers). Tracking and documentation of patient journey’s in CRM systems, including needs, sites of care, and dosing schedules. Will conduct timely follow ups with patients and care partners. Develop and maintain deep knowledge of client products and associated disease states. Educate patients and care partners with accurate, up-to-date clinical information and complete and maintain required Adverse Event and Pharmacovigilance training. Required: BS in Nursing (BSN) required, MS degree (Science or Public Health) preferred. Minimum 5+ years of clinical oncology experience in biotech, healthcare or hospital setting. Nurse navigation and OCN certification preferred. Patient, nurse support program delivery. Pharmaceutical or patient support program experience preferred that includes CRM systems and virtual telephony. Proven experience in patient interaction and delivering exceptional patient experiences. Must have ability to explain complex clinical information clearly and empathetically. This includes compassion and emotional intelligence, especially when working with late-stage patients and their care partners. Must have Oncology Patient Care experience Additional: Your residence /location is 45 minutes from a major airport. The position is for their West Coast U.S. territories, which include Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska , Kansas , Oklahoma, Texas and Hawaii. Must be able to travel domestically up to 50%, including overnight and some weekends. Position pays up to 180k base plus bonus and additional incentives. Apply To This Job
