Role Overview
This position is a remote, part‑time opportunity based in the United States (New York) with a competitive hourly rate of $25‑$35. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across North America, leveraging your analytical mindset and strong attention to detail to transform raw data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain monthly merchant rebate revenue tracking reports for the Canada region, comparing actual performance against forecasts and identifying key drivers of variance.
- Develop and update merchant rebate revenue scorecards, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive data normalization and process improvement initiatives across multiple pricing teams, fostering consistency in reporting and analysis.
- Support external audits by investigating discrepancies, coordinating with regional pricing teams, and managing remediation actions.
- Conduct ad‑hoc data analysis to assess rebate rate trends, uncover hidden insights, and recommend data‑driven enhancements to pricing models.
- Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and merchant services stakeholders to ensure data integrity and seamless information flow.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, transformation logic, and reporting procedures to support auditability and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously seek opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using Excel macros, VBA, or other scripting tools, increasing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services, payments industry, or a related finance role.
