Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our category management and marketing strategy initiatives. Your primary duties will include:

  • Contributing to Sales and Margin Goals: Work directly with the marketing team to help achieve sales and gross margin targets within assigned product categories.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze relevant data sets, integrate findings, and develop recommendations for Category Plans. This includes identifying optimal SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) mixes, loyalty program enhancements, and promotional project opportunities.
  • Strategic Execution Support: Drive the day-to-day execution of assortment activities, including managing off-shelf displays, tracking promotional timelines, and performing real-time analysis to recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams of arenaflex experts across Inventory, Pricing, Promotion, Finance, Store Brands, Store Layout, Marketing, and Store Operations to ensure alignment on category strategies.
  • Sales and Inventory Analysis: Examine sales records and current stock levels to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of current competitors, proactively seek out new competitive opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to category managers.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about changes in the marketplace, consumer behavior shifts, and emerging trends that could impact category performance.
  • Research and Insights: Conduct research on customer product preferences, supplier pricing, and the broader competitive environment to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Accurate Data Entry: Ensure timely, precise entry of all data into internal systems and databases, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Retail Math Knowledge: Working knowledge of retail mathematical concepts with demonstrated practical application.
