Assistant Project Manager
Santa Clara County Housing Authority is the county’s largest provider of affordable housing, helping make rental housing safe and affordable for approximately 43,000 low-income residents. They are hiring an Assistant Project Manager to join their Real Estate Development Team, where the individual will help develop a pipeline of affordable housing projects and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Help develop a pipeline of over 20 projects and 1500 units of affordable housing
- Work on a variety of projects ranging from new construction multi-family housing to the renovation and rehabilitation of existing structures to the repurposing of commercial properties and master planning for affordable housing
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least one (1) to three (3) years of previous experience developing affordable housing using Federal and State funding sources
- Experience with pro formas and financial model analysis
- Experience reviewing and negotiating real estate development transactional documents
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills to work with all cross-functional partners through the project
