6 month contract 100% remote, must work EST hours $60-65/hr W2 Principal Business Analyst (Contract)Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Principal Business Analyst (Contract) to lead the definition, prioritization, and delivery of key Commercial IT initiatives. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring strategic objectives are translated into actionable requirements and delivered with measurable business value. Key Deliverables

  • Define and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and drive cross-functional alignment on requirements and delivery plans.
  • Ensure successful delivery of solutions that achieve targeted business outcomes and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, and delivery teams to manage Agile execution and sprint planning activities.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions and support decision-making across competing business needs.
  • Coordinate across Commercial, IT, and vendor teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Support solution adoption through change management, communications, training, and business readiness activities.
  • Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure successful outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Business Analysis experience, including leadership of complex business and technology initiatives.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry, with a focus on Commercial functions.
  • Experience working with CRM and enterprise business systems.
  • Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and backlog management.
  • Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive consensus across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.

Preferred Experience & Tools

  • Experience with Veeva CRM and Salesforce platforms.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency with Agile delivery and workflow management tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, customer engagement, or commercial excellence initiatives.
