Position Overview

As a Retail Operations Associate at arenaflex, you will become an essential part of a high-energy, customer-centered team operating in a leading retail environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide differentiated, outstanding customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating genuine empathy and care in every interaction, and proactively identifying and resolving potential service issues before they escalate.
  • Customer Engagement: Focus entirely on the customer experience by offering a warm, friendly greeting, maintaining meaningful eye contact, and actively assisting shoppers in locating additional items or products that meet their needs.
  • Cash Handling and Transactions: Accurately perform all cashier duties, including handling cash, checks, and credit/debit card transactions with precision and integrity, while strictly adhering to company policies and operational procedures.
  • Sales Floor Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendor deliveries, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by senior management.
  • Store Operations Support: Assist with opening and closing store activities as required, ensuring the store is fully prepared for daily operations or properly secured at the end of each business day.
  • Multi-Department Customer Care: Provide exceptional customer service across all store departments, including photo services and beauty sections, ensuring these areas are fully stocked, operational, and aligned with current company offerings and tools.

Required Qualifications and Physical Requirements

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree is preferred, though candidates with equivalent experience and demonstrated capabilities are also encouraged to apply.

  • Physical Strength: Capability to lift and apply up to 35 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move merchandise and objects, including items requiring overhead lifting.
  • Visual Acuity: Possess close visual acuity to perform essential job functions such as reading labels, inspecting merchandise, viewing workstations, and conducting detailed visual examinations of small parts and product details.
