Position Overview

As a Remote Customer Experience Associate at arenaflex, you will serve as the frontline ambassador of our brand, engaging with customers through multiple channels to deliver outstanding service. Your primary mission will be to create positive, memorable experiences for every customer interaction while supporting sales initiatives, resolving inquiries, and maintaining operational excellence. This position reports to a designated Shift Lead or Customer Service Supervisor and offers a structured pathway for professional development within a thriving organization.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement and Experience

  • Warmly greet and engage customers as they connect with arenaflex, offering personalized assistance with products, services, and general inquiries.
  • Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and questions promptly and professionally to ensure a positive, lasting impression.
  • Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, reinforcing arenaflex’s core service values such as offering assistance proactively, acknowledging customer needs, and following through until complete satisfaction is achieved.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal habits including warmth, attentiveness, courtesy, and professionalism in every interaction.

Sales and Transactional Support

  • Provide customers with respectful, agreeable, quick, and productive service at every touchpoint.
  • Recommend products available for purchase to customers and suggest complementary or upgraded items that enhance their experience.
  • Process customer purchases accurately on assigned sales systems, including handling cash transactions, distributing change, and managing voids, returns, postponements, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
  • Maintain organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing displays, including promotional, seasonal, and clearance merchandise.
  • Complete resets, updates, and product placement tasks as directed by management.

Operational Excellence and Compliance

  • Keep counters, shelves, and workstations clean, organized, and well-merchandised at all times.
  • Take inventory and maintain accurate stock records; check in and price merchandise as required or directed by supervisors.
  • Execute company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize loss prevention opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding controlled products, including age-restricted items.
  • Build and maintain product displays, including promotional, seasonal, super displays, and sale stock configurations.
  • Assist with proper separation of food items in accordance with company policies and procedures, including the first-in, first-out (FIFO) rotation method.

Technology and Digital Services

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of store systems, point-of-sale equipment, and digital service platforms.
  • Provide customer service in specialized areas such as digital photo services, banner printing, creative machines, and promotional photo products.
  • Handle online order fulfillment duties, including monitoring orders in digital platforms, picking items, and ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Assist with both exterior and interior maintenance efforts to ensure a clean, orderly, and presentable operational environment.

Team Collaboration and Development

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures while maintaining respectful and collaborative relationships with colleagues.
  • Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
  • Attend required training sessions and complete professional development learning modules as directed by management or corporate leadership.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following baseline requirements:

  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Note: This requirement does not apply to candidates based in Puerto Rico.)
  • Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours, to meet the needs of our customers and business operations.
  • Reliable Work Environment: Must have a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection to perform duties effectively.
  • Technical Readiness: Comfort with technology, including the ability to learn new systems, navigate multiple platforms, and troubleshoot basic technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give candidates a competitive edge:

  • At least six months of prior experience working in a retail environment, customer service setting, or similar client-facing role.
  • Previous work experience with arenaflex or a comparable retail organization, with demonstrated familiarity of our products, services, and operational standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking), with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse customer scenarios.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior remote work experience with demonstrated self-motivation and time management capabilities.
