Your Role: Remote Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative (P&C)

As a Remote Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative specializing in Property and Casualty insurance at arenaflex, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers seeking coverage for their homes, vehicles, and personal property. Your primary mission is to deliver expert guidance, empathetic support, and tailored insurance solutions that protect what matters most to every customer. Key Responsibilities

  • Active Listening and Needs Assessment: Engage customers with empathy, asking thoughtful, open-ended questions to fully understand their unique insurance needs, life circumstances, and coverage goals.
  • Plan Recommendations and Advisory: Educate customers on a wide range of Property and Casualty plan options, coverage levels, deductibles, and pricing structures, helping them make confident, informed decisions that align with their budgets and protection needs.
  • New and Amended Policy Processing: Accurately process new policy applications, endorsements, renewals, amendments, and cancellations using our proprietary CRM and insurance platform tools, ensuring data integrity and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Authentic Customer Experiences: Consistently deliver exceptional, human-centered service that exceeds customer expectations and builds long-term trust and brand loyalty.
  • Sales and Retention Excellence: Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities where appropriate, helping customers enhance their protection while supporting business growth targets and retention goals.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints with patience, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset, ensuring every customer feels heard and valued.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate records of all customer interactions, follow state-specific insurance regulations, and adhere to company policies and quality standards at all times.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, product updates, and best practices to deliver knowledgeable, relevant guidance in every conversation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active Resident Property and Casualty Insurance License: You must hold a current, active resident license to sell P&C insurance in your state of residence. This is a mandatory requirement for the role.
  • United States Residency: You must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address for residence. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required in accordance with federal law.
  • Educational Background: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. An associate's or bachelor's degree in business, communications, finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, or native/bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English for our bilingual team members.
  • Background Check and Drug Screen: Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Prior experience in customer service, inside sales, retail sales, or call center environments, ideally within the insurance or financial services sectors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in clear, simple, and relatable terms.
  • Exceptional active listening skills, patience, and empathy when working with customers during stressful or emotionally charged situations.
  • A self-motivated, disciplined work ethic suited to a remote, home-based environment, with strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Comfort with technology, including CRM platforms, contact center software, multi-line phone systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset combined with the ability to work independently and take ownership of customer outcomes.
  • A genuine desire to help people protect their assets, families, and futures through the right insurance solutions.
