Key Responsibilities
Design and develop comprehensive early learning curricula for children aged 2-6, focusing on remote delivery. Create engaging and interactive lesson plans, activities, and educational games that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Develop age-appropriate assessment tools and methods to track children's progress in a virtual setting. Ensure all curriculum content aligns with established early learning standards (e.g., Common Core, state-specific standards). Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia developers to produce high-quality educational materials. Adapt existing curriculum content for online platforms and interactive digital formats. Conduct research on best practices in early childhood education and online learning. Write clear, concise, and engaging instructional text and supporting materials. Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively in a remote work environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in curriculum design and development specifically for early childhood education. Proven experience in creating engaging content for online or remote learning environments. Strong understanding of child development theories, pedagogy, and learning standards for young children. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Proficiency in using various digital tools and platforms for curriculum development and delivery. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Creative thinker with a passion for early learning and innovative educational approaches. Portfolio showcasing previous curriculum design work is highly recommended.
