BCBA — Remote Program Manager
About the position KEBM is seeking a BCBA — Remote Program Manager for a fully remote, clinical leadership role. This position offers full-time and part-time employment options. The role involves leading a team of BCBAs and behavior technicians via telehealth, carrying a billable caseload, and owning program quality across virtual service delivery. This is a clinical leadership opportunity for BCBAs seeking remote flexibility with real authority. The ideal candidate has the discipline to manage a clinical operation remotely and the professional setup to do so effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of BCBA clinicians and behavior technicians remotely, including virtual supervision sessions, team meetings, performance evaluations, and real-time coaching.
- Carry a direct billable caseload (70% of time) including FBAs, treatment plan authorship, progress monitoring, and clinical decision-making via telehealth.
- Own program quality across virtual service delivery, including quality assurance processes, treatment fidelity monitoring, outcome measurement, and continuous improvement of KEBM's telehealth program.
- Manage virtual crisis situations and escalations, providing remote emergency support, crisis protocol implementation, and coordination with on-site teams when necessary.
- Ensure telehealth compliance end-to-end, including HIPAA in remote operations, state-specific telehealth regulations, privacy protocols, and documentation standards for virtual service delivery.
- Develop virtual training programs and drive staff competency, including onboarding, ongoing professional development, telehealth service delivery protocols, and technical support for the virtual team.
- Generate program data and reports, including utilization metrics, outcome tracking, and program presentations for the CD and CCD.
- Maintain core presence hours (2:00 PM – 7:00 PM PST) with camera on, ensuring visible, available, and responsive communication.
Requirements
- Active BCBA Certification
- Master's degree required
- 3+ years post-certification experience
- Current state licensure
- Reliable high-speed internet and professional remote workspace required
- Discipline to hold core hours
- Professional workspace with a door that can close for client confidentiality and professional appearance on camera
- Reliable high-speed internet with sufficient bandwidth for video supervision without dropouts (minimum 25 Mbps up/down recommended; hardwired connection preferred over Wi-Fi)
- Approved video backgrounds (clean, professional physical background or KEBM-approved virtual background)
- Proper lighting and audio (front-facing lighting source, external microphone or high-quality headset)
- Use of company-approved platforms only for all clinical work, documentation, supervision, and family communication
- Documentation turnaround within 24 hours of service delivery
- Understanding that virtual clinical supervision is harder than in-person supervision
- Genuine thriving in remote work environments
- Willingness to show up for clinical authority without the commute
- Capacity for remote clinical operation management
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years post-BCBA clinical experience
- Prior telehealth ABA service delivery experience
- Multi-state licensure (CA + GA or additional states)
- Bilingual (Spanish)
