Position Overview

The Remote Financial Customer Service Representative role is a critical front‑line position within arenaflex’s Mortgage Support Team. You will act as the single point of contact for our B2B clients, guiding them through the mortgage lifecycle—from application to closing—while ensuring every interaction meets the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness. This is a 100 % remote opportunity, offering a structured schedule that aligns with Eastern, Central, and Mountain time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between arenaflex’s client organizations and internal mortgage processing teams, delivering clear, concise, and courteous communication via phone, email, and chat.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of loan products—including FHA, VA, conventional, and jumbo loans—to answer client inquiries and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Provide proactive status updates to clients at each stage of the mortgage process, ensuring transparency and confidence throughout the transaction.
  • Initiate outbound outreach when additional information or documentation is required, keeping the pipeline moving smoothly and reducing cycle times.
  • Document every client interaction in arenaflex’s CRM and case‑management systems, guaranteeing that all relevant stakeholders have access to up‑to‑date information.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across underwriting, compliance, funding, and closing departments to resolve complex questions and escalations.
  • Adhere strictly to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Client Service Standards, taking ownership of each inquiry and following through to resolution.
  • Demonstrate punctual attendance and reliability, contributing to a high‑performing remote team environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in mortgage servicing, with a strong preference for candidates who have performed closing, processing, or funding duties.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various loan types (FHA, VA, conventional, USDA, etc.) and the end‑to‑end mortgage workflow.
  • Proven ability to communicate professionally and empathetically over the phone and in writing, tailoring language to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, or loan origination software to track client interactions and case progress.
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
  • High‑speed internet connection, a quiet home office environment, and a reliable headset for clear audio communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification or formal training in mortgage banking, real estate finance, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as RESPA, TILA, and HMDA.
