Our esteemed client in Chicago, Illinois, US is seeking an innovative and experienced Early Childhood Educator to spearhead the development and implementation of a groundbreaking online learning program for preschool-aged children. This unique, fully remote position requires a visionary educator with a proven ability to create engaging digital content and curriculum that promotes holistic child development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future of early learning for our client's online platform. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and curate age-appropriate curriculum and learning materials for a remote early childhood education program, covering areas such as literacy, numeracy, science, arts, and social-emotional learning. Create high-quality digital content, including interactive lessons, educational videos, printable activities, and engaging online games. Develop strategies for fostering a supportive and interactive virtual learning community for young children and their families. Conduct online workshops and training sessions for parents or caregivers to facilitate home-based learning experiences. Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in early childhood education and digital learning technologies. Evaluate the effectiveness of the online program and make data-driven improvements to content and delivery methods. Collaborate with a team of designers, developers, and educational consultants to ensure the program is engaging, effective, and user-friendly. Develop assessment tools to monitor children's progress in the online environment. Ensure all content adheres to early childhood education standards and best practices. Manage project timelines and deliverables for curriculum development initiatives. Provide guidance and support to families navigating the online learning platform. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a strong plus. Minimum of 7 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years focused on curriculum design and development. Demonstrated experience in creating engaging digital learning content for young children. Strong understanding of child development principles and pedagogical approaches for the 3-5 age group. Proficiency with educational technology tools and platforms for content creation and delivery. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex educational concepts clearly. Experience in remote work environments and managing projects independently. Ability to translate educational theory into practical, fun, and accessible online activities. Creative thinking and a passion for innovation in early childhood education. Familiarity with online assessment strategies for young learners. Must provide a portfolio showcasing relevant curriculum development work. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while demanding high levels of self-discipline and initiative. The role is based in Chicago, Illinois, US but is performed entirely online.
