Key Responsibilities

Design, perform, and optimize molecular biology experiments, including gene cloning, PCR, Western blotting, and cell culture. Apply and develop genomic techniques such as RNA-Seq, CRISPR-based gene editing, and ChIP-Seq to investigate gene function and regulation. Analyze and interpret experimental data, integrating molecular and genomic findings to address key biological questions. Develop and maintain robust experimental protocols and standard operating procedures. Collaborate with computational biologists and bioinformaticians to analyze and interpret large-scale datasets. Troubleshoot experimental challenges and propose innovative solutions. Prepare detailed reports of experimental findings and contribute to scientific publications and presentations. Stay updated on the latest advancements in molecular biology, genomics, and relevant technologies. Maintain a well-organized electronic laboratory notebook and manage laboratory supplies.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline. Minimum of 3 years of relevant research experience (postdoctoral experience counts). Strong hands-on expertise in a broad range of molecular biology techniques. Demonstrated experience with genomics technologies (e.g., next-generation sequencing library preparation, qPCR, microarrays). Proficiency in data analysis using common software packages (e.g., GraphPad Prism, Excel) and basic statistical principles. Experience with bioinformatics tools for sequence analysis and data visualization is a plus. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at presenting scientific data. Proven ability to work independently and effectively within a
